The Wedding of Alice & Tom - Bourton Hall

On the 5th June, 2022 we had the honour of styling the wedding of Alice and Tom at the stunning Bourton Hall. A country mansion nestled in the rolling hills of Warwickshire, a venue full of history and character.

Following on from their wedding we asked Alice & Tom to provide us with some feedback and thoughts on their day and this is what they had to say...

Tell us a little bit about your wedding day…?

The best day of our lives - we just wanted everyone to have fun - eat and drink well surrounded by a beautiful environment.

We went for a green and white theme, with wisteria trees and generally very natural and relaxed.

We also had a small gin theme too, to add to the fun! Having suppliers and a venue that makes you feel special and endeavour to help in every way makes a huge difference. We regret nothing and loved every moment. Plan things you know you'll enjoy and have the day flow naturally.

What was your favourite part of the whole day?

Each part of the day is special in its own way. The ceremony and walking out married for the drinks reception was something we will never forget. We personally loved the wedding breakfast a lot as it's when you're together with everyone and listening to the speeches.

Which styling element did you love the most?

That's so difficult to pick! We loved the entirety of our wedding breakfast room particularly; every small detail of the styling was perfect. I think having a clear theme or colour makes a difference and the greens we had at ours were beautiful.

Any top tips for engaged couples?

Enjoy your engagement and all the build up. We loved planning our wedding and the small touches really do get noticed.

Why did you choose Team Rustic?

We loved the styling we'd seen at other weddings and the ability to integrate florals and our own style along with Rustic's special touch! We felt the cost/value and the clarity of what we needed to do was really good too.

We are so pleased we used you guys, you listened to everything and helped us create our vision perfectly. We had so many comments about the venue visually with the design/styling touches. On the day it was wonderful knowing we could relax whilst everything came together.
