The lovely Kelly & James celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Thorpe Gardens wedding venue in Tamworth on a glorious August summer day.
K & J booked our bespoke full styling option and Team Rustic created everything for them, from table centre pieces, to bridal party flowers and custom signage. We also put together a showstopper ceremony half moon of meadow flowers arrangement for them to tie the knot in front of below a gorgoeus big tree in the gardens.

Over to Kelly to tell us a little more about their day...
Tell us a little bit about your wedding...?
We got married at Thorpe Garden in August (luckily, on the hottest day of the year as the weather the week before had been rubbish!) with 60 of our closest family and friends!
We wanted to keep it as relaxed as possible so that everyone was happy and comfortable and we really feel like we achieved this!
We hired lots of Garden Games which were perfect for the sunny weather (Bruce's Play Your Cards Right was a particular favourite!), the food was perfect and the evening party in the yurt was amazing!
It was just the best day ever!!
How would you describe your wedding ceremony?
We had the most perfect outdoor ceremony that honestly, surpassed all expectations!
I changed my mind about how I wanted it all to look around 3 weeks' before the wedding and honestly, Lesley and the team absolutely nailed it!!
We could have got married by the outdoor hut that is already at the venue however on our final venue visit, I noticed the most beautiful tree (I know!) and just knew we had to get married under it.
Lesley then made the most perfect meadow arch to go under it (which we then re-used at the top table during the Wedding breakfast) with beautiful rose petals and candles lining the aisle.
Honestly, it was just perfect
Tell us about your decor… why did you choose your theme?
As our venue was within a Walled Garden, we wanted to compliment it, rather than overshadow it so we chose a fairly neutral pallet of whites and pinks, allowing the colourful flowers of the venue to also shine!
We did however add lots of glitterballs to just make it that little bit more boujey!!
What was your favourite part of the day?
We honestly can't choose one specific moment - it was honestly just the best day and I still can't really get my head around it that it was OUR day!
I didn't believe it when people said 'Oh it's the best day of your life' but it really is!! We were on a high for days!
There was one point during the Wedding Breakfast however where I managed to take a second and just looked out at all our closest friends and family, chatting away, laughing together and I was just SO happy, it was a 'Wow, look at what we've achieved' moment!
Any top tips for engaged couples?
Do it your way! Don't be swayed or influenced by other peoples' opinions - It's your day, not their's!
If you have the best day, so will they - your happiness on the day is infectious!!
Why did you choose Team Rustic?
As soon as I saw Team Rustic's Instagram page, I just knew they had to style our Wedding.
I had a vision of how I wanted our Wedding to look, but had absolutely no idea how I was going to bring it to reality... Enter Team Rustic! The personalised meetings where you can blurt out all the ideas in your head and chat through everything, was just perfect - it made us both feel so at ease that somehow, our dreams would come true and everything would be so bespoke, that it really would be OUR vision, and not something that's just a copy of something else.
Lesley took all my ideas and somehow made them happen!
Fresh flowers were also a non-negotiable for us so the fact that Team Rustic could supply these, as well as everything else, was just the cherry on top that meant we could get everything from one supplier!

Final Note: For a job, Kelly works for a very exciting chocolate supplier (our Director Lesley's favourite actually...) and she brought the whole team a big box of goodies before the wedding - we are so thankful for clients like Kelly!
