So yesterday we heard from the lovely Mrs Ushma Rose who married Adrian at The Walled Gardens at Beeston fields almost a year ago to the day. (They have just celebrated their first wedding anniversary!)
She was kind enough to send over some of the professional images from her day taken by Stuart G Lloyd Photography and gave us a bit of a review.
Ushma says...
" When my husband and I decided to get married, I knew exactly what kind of look and theme I wanted to go for. Having found the perfect venue in The Walled Garden, Beeston, Nottinghamshire, I then set up sourcing the décor myself. We paid for our wedding ourselves and were on a really tight budget so I used websites like Gumtree and Ebay to get a lot of my décor and that’s where I saw the Rustic candy cart. It was exactly the look I wanted as I had this image of using a candy cart to display my wedding cakes. I didn’t want a white one which everyone uses and is readily available on the internet and as it was going to be the stand out showcase piece, the original brown wood look was just perfect for what I had imagined.
Lesley had only just started her company so the rustic cart was on a special offer and with her being in Leicester, which was where I was going to be in the lead up for my wedding, her location couldn’t have been more perfect. Having made contact with Lesley she invited me to see the cart and her wide range of vintage props that I could use in addition to the cart as part of my cake display.
I instantly fell in love with the cart – and some of her props and I booked with Lesley there and then.
Lesley then delivered the cart the day before my wedding as agreed and set it all up ready for me to display my cakes. She also left me a box of props to use in addition to my own selection of vintage bottles, log pieces and vintage tea cups and saucers. As you can see from my photos my vision was realised to perfection thanks to the Rustic candy cart and many of my guests commented on how lovely it looked.
I would highly recommend Lesley and The Rustic Wedding Company as it was a real pleasure dealing with her. She will go out of her way to make sure you have the perfect look for your perfect day! "
