Sarah & Matthew: A Winter Wedding: Prestwold Hall

Sarah contacted me a while back through our facebook page requesting to hire our lovely rustic candy cart which I was over the moon about as I have known her since I was very little - we attended the same primary school and her mum was one of my Dinner-ladies.

As soon as Sarah told me that she wanted to use the cart as a 'snack cart' which included a selection of different crisps, chocolates, popcorn and Krispy Kreme donuts (TM), my head was buzzing with decoration ideas - and then she decided to tell me it was going to be Christmas wedding... well... what can I say... I literally couldn't contain my excitement after hearing that!

My two favourite things... food... and CHRISTMAS! How exciting.

I do love it when brides choose to do something slightly different to the usual 'candy cart' set up. I mean don't get me wrong, who doesn't love sweeties... but come on...KRISPY KREME donuts are amazing!

Anyway, after meeting Sarah at her venue for a quick chat, we put together a list of things she wanted to borrow from us - which happened to include a couple of personally designed chalkboards (another one of my guilty pleasures), some wooden crates, the cart and our vintage Love Ladders.

We turned up to deliver the items the day before the wedding and then returned in the morning just to check everything was ok and add the finishing touches.

We had a blast styling this wedding and are quite proud of what we have achieved.
